# Leyline

> Ask Leyline what to use. One conversation researches the public catalogue, compares human and agent evidence, and follows the requirement into Sorcery when a composition is useful.

Leyline ranks trust. It does not proxy inference or resell tokens. Do not treat Leyline as an inference gateway or pay-per-call proxy. There is no WebMCP. Save, re-check, conversation start, and Sorcery have no MCP tool. There is no agents.txt and no A2A card. Re-check reports how many gaps filled since you asked. The CLI defaults to this site. Pass --base-url to point at another deployment.

The read-only MCP server is POST https://staging.leyline.ahensya.com/mcp. Its tools are search, card, resolve, functions, pulse, frequency, rank, and share lookup. Parse is not an MCP tool. An optional Authorization: Bearer {key} marks a keyed caller. Public reads stay open without it. Leyline stores the SHA-256 hash only. GET /api/v1/resolve records a count and a timestamp. It does not write the search text into the usage log.
